Juventus & Manchester United have settled on £110 million deal for Paul Pogba
The summer’s longest saga may have finally found a conclusion.
Manchester United’s pursuit of Paul Pogba has finally ended in success, with the Daily Record reporting that Juventus have agreed to a £110 million deal.
The sticking point over the past few weeks appears to have been over which club would pay the 30 percent sell-on clause owed to Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola.
Jose Mourinho’s side — according to the paper — have finally relinquished and agreed to pay Raiola £25.1m on top of a £83.8m payment to the Bianconeri.
Chelsea bid for Brazilian Pirlo
Chelsea are weighing up a £15 million bid for Santos maestro Thiago Maia, who has been compared to Andrea Pirlo.
The Blues will track his progress while starring for Brazil in the Olympics but the Mirror says they have triggered talks with his agent Kia Joorabchian — who has had previous dealings with Chelsea before.
Having spent two season at the base of O Peixe’s midfield, the 19-year-old could now be enticed to move to London.
Everton make bold enquiry for Draxler
Julian Draxler appears ready to jump ship after just a year with Wolfsburg, butthe Bundesliga club insists that he will not be going anywhere.
While the Daily Star has linked Arsenal to a move, the Independent suggests a shock candidate for the Die Mannschaft starlet could be Everton.
The Toffees might be unable to meet the 22-year-old’s £63 million buy-out clause, but they are displaying their newfound ambition by merely targeting players of this calibre.

City target another wonder kid
Manchester City have signed one wonder kid this week in Gabriel Jesus and they could be ready for another.
The next prodigious talent set to join the Pep Guardiola revolution could be Marlos Moreno, according to the Star.
City will have to pay £15 million to Atletico Nacional for the exciting Colombian talent.
Spurs line up Portuguese starlet
Mauricio Pochettino is ready to bring Braga’s midfielder Rafa Silva to White Hart Lane in a £10 million move.
The Portugal star is also attracting interest from Zenit and Porto but the Mirror says he has been on Spurs’ radar since last season.
Silva struck eight times and added two assists last season as Braga finished fourth.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder will cost £2 million and replace Ogenyi Onazi, who has joined Trabzonspor for £4 million.
