As if UFC 205 wasn’t already a must-see event, Conor McGregor is giving fans another reason to shell out their hard-earned dollars.

“Mystic Mac” is undoubtedly assuming he’ll be successful Nov. 12 in his attempt to unseat lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez at Madison Square Garden. That title win would make the reigning featherweight king the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously.

It’s difficult to imagine what McGregor could do to top that feat, not to mention headlining what he predicts will be the most successful UFC PPV of all time, but he’s already hinting at a major announcement after the fight.

“Buy the pay-per-view and stay tuned,” McGregor told Mike Bohn of MMAjunkie. “Don’t blink. It’s going to be big.”

McGregor won’t say anymore about the matter, though it doesn’t sound like it will be anything to displease the masses, like the retirement he teased earlier this year during a brief tiff with the UFC. It’s also unclear whether the announcement will be related to business or personal matters.

As is usual with “The Notorious,” the only way to figure out what he’ll do next is to wait for the man himself to tell the world.

“It’s always positive with me,” McGregor said. “So all I’ll say is tune in.”
